Buena Park School District is a beacon of educational excellence, igniting a passion for learning through innovative programs that develop the whole child.  Highlights from BPSD elementary programs:

International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program (IBPYP) offers a transformative and relevant educational curriculum guided by six transdisciplinary themes of global significance integrated into all aspects of learning.

Disney Musicals in Schools develops a school musical team through the Segerstrom Center for the Arts, culminating in a full-scale student musical production. 

Speech teams at every school site focus on teamwork, empathy, and public speaking and cap each year with district-wide and regional tournaments.

Highlights from BPSD Middle School Programs:

STEM Sailing Academy is a yearlong program for AVID students in partnership with the US Sailing Foundation's "REACH" curriculum and the Long Beach Yacht Club.

Beatty Middle School offers Competitive Debate as part of the Orange County Debate League. 

Ag Science and Horticulture is a fully-aligned FFA program at Buena Park Middle School -- the first middle school FFA program in Orange County and one of only 15 in California.

Award-winning percussion and drumline teams compete in events throughout the southland as part of the Southern California Percussion Alliance.
