CAASPP
In late spring, students in grades 3 through 8 participate in the CA Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP). CAASPP testing provides just one of many snapshots of student learning and growth.
To help parents understand what CAASPP testing is about, click on the links below.
- CA Science Test (CAST) - taken every spring for grades 5, 8 and 11
- CA Alternate Assessment (CAA) - taken every spring for students with individualized learning plans
Test Scores
For the first time, test scores will be made available online in summer/early fall. You will receive notification via email or text when they are available. Please be sure your primary email address and/or cell phone number is up-to-date with your student's school office.
