Our Chief Personnel Officer, Paul Deines, is excited to support the employees of Buena Park School District so that they can ignite the passion for learning as we serve our community and educate our students, through an open, welcoming culture of kindness and joy fueled by the amazing work we do together. 

The Human Resources Department’s primary responsibilities include: recruitment and applicant processing for all management, certificated and classified positions within the District; employment examinations; employee benefits administration; credential processing; employee records maintenance; substitute staff management; District first aid and workers’ compensation program administration; and unemployment claim processing.
