Comic Creator Showcase

The Comic Creator program represents one rotation of the district's After School Enrichment Program (ASEP), which offers expanded learning opportunities for students.

Participants in the 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades develop comic book outlines and drawings with the help of ASEP mentors and ultimately write and draw their own comic books. The top 50 students are invited to participate in the Comic Creator Showcase, when family members and friends have the opportunity to view the final products. Each school site also presents awards to students whose comic books are truly exceptional or imaginative.
