Femineer Program

The Femineer Program was created and funded by Cal Poly Pomona’s College of Engineering to inspire students to pursue STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) career pathways, and Buena Park Middle School was one of 50 schools invited to participate. The program engages participants through creative, hands-on activities, including computer programming, engineering design process, soldering electronic circuits, creative robotics, wearable technology, HTML design, 3D printing, 3D laser printer design, and more. Through real-world applications, Femineers acquire the technical knowledge, collaboration, public speaking, and practical skills necessary to become confident and strong in their future careers.
